I have to agree with the other guy here, not you. I'm not saying it's not a good movie - it's a great action flick, an incredible summer blockbuster - but it's definitely problematic.

Anyways, if Nolan has dreams like this, he needs professional help.

That's cool with me. The thing is if we start over analyzing any sci-fi movie, chances are we are going to find many problems or holes in them.

How strange? I once dreamt of myself as a circus bear... got pissed and ate a few people, and rode that bicycle out of there...

Well, that's what I mean. But do you dream about James Bond-like excursions or do you have bizarre, weird dreams that don't seem to follow any logical rules?

Another flaw with the movie: dreams can't have lighting changes. They are stuck at one light level.

Said who? Let go of your logic and think outside of the box when you are watching Inception.

Only difference is the UK one doesn't include the "The Cobol Job" comic and the claim of only 2000 being produced (since AFAIK it isn't numbered)....

Said science, actually.

Anywho, I followed the movie very well and enjoyed it a fair bit, but I'm not sure where all this "best movie of all time" stuff is coming from these days. And, like some other people on this thread, I'm discussing my opinion on the film.

I think thinking outside of "the box" is fine, but I feel like Nolan should have thought outside the box too. He has a big thing with making sure movies are "real", or as real as possible. I think he means they should be grounded in reality. I could tell that he was trying to ground dreams in reality, and I don't think they should be. *shrugs* As entertaining as the movie is, it was an intelligent and very original action flick, but nothing more.

i see but usually true collectors wont complain about prices if it rises and they really wont wait on a great deal for something limited. seems like the people complaining about the ebayers just want the thing (like myself) so whynot go for uk. i think you can even get the comic seprately somewhere else if you wanted it too, luckily i dont

Well, your dreams are not engineered

Good to see that as expected people are fighting and crying over this film though.

Anyway, I don't know what kind of dream land (pun intended) some of you are living in, but it is too ealry to know how Inception will stand against the all time greats. Those greats are not flawless either and have their fair share of haters.

Regarding Inception. It is my experience that most of the 'haters' didn't grasp everything in it. I am not talking about the mythology of it. Getting Inception isn't about understanding all the 'dream layers' , 'dream within a dream', 'limbo' etc. that stuff isn't really all that complex.

Imo Inception is alot like Blade Runner. At first glance it seems to be all about the visuals and mythology devoid of any emotional aspect but take a closer look and the whole point is about emotion.

PS, I don't think this is the best movie ever, nor is it even close to being my favourite at this point in time. I thought that Avatar was my fav when I saw it, now I can't even watch it. Get my point?

I'v had dreams change lighting condition. So what does that say?

For one: it's a movie, I think people are taking this WAY too seriously.

I mean obviously people have different dreams. Although you might not have "James Bond" type dreams, others may. Most of the time people don't even remember them, who's to say you never had one like that?

Over the years, I've had extremely weird, freaky, sad and random ones. Recently I had a dream about Dexter, but it was like I was on an acid trip. Everything was flickering from what I can remember. A lot of people say they only dream in black and white... I've never once dreamt in B&W

Well, my apologies to both of you then. Perhaps I was misinformed.
