That's true too, but they can play tough defense when they need to. Plus, their offense has been able to bring them back from deficits time and time again this year. They're becoming the true comeback kings.

Wisconsin ran for over 300 yards and 5 touchdowns, Northwestern's defense is even worse than an utter fail.

excited to see the "official" release of the polls on espn in about 90 minutes.
some of the articles i read had WISC @ #4 ahead of Stanford! that would be awesome

and if WISC gets TCU, that would be an intriguing Rose Bowl that no one probably saw coming

did they do that against Illinois (or whoever) when they scored 83?!

that is scary impressive. if they threw the ball it wouldn't be as special. that's a lot of ground to cover. amazing how great they constantly are at running the ball

It was over Indiana. They won that game 83-20. It was pretty sick indeed.

Wisconsin is ahead of Stanford in the human polls. Problem is the computer rankings have strongy favored Stanford over Wisconsin. My guess if Stanford will stay one spot up in the BCS rankings thanks to computer rankings.

I don't know my friend. I'd have to pick Wisconsin over Stanford in that match-up. I hope they play each other.

yeah, i guess it doesn't really matter which team is one spot ahead of the other. with Oregon going to the Championship, that leaves Stanford likely for the Rose Bowl doesn't it? or is that the TCU? and since WISC will be the top ranked team in Big Ten they "win it" and get the Rose Bowl.

either way, i know WISC is gonna get the Rose Bowl. just a matter of either TCU or Stanford i think.

I believe the PAC-10 has an automatic birth, and since Oregon is going to the national title game, that would leave Stanford to be representing the PAC-10 in the Rose Bowl game then.

Unless Auburn and Oregon both lose their final game and the entire system falls into chaos. Very unlikely but not impossible.

isn't Oregon done until the championship game?

i thought the regular season was done?

Auburn has the SEC Championship game, but the PAC-10 doesn't have a championship game, so i don't think Oregon has another game but i'll have to double check.

EDIT: nvm! totally forgot Oregon still has their civil war against Oregon State, duh!

New BCS rankings. TCU's spot at #3 is more solid than I thought. And Wisconsin has a pretty good lead over Stanford for #4.

nothing confirmed, but i just heard from somebody that the word is Gruden has accepted a 3.4 Million dollar deal to be the new head coach at Miami. take this as nothing more than rumor for now, since it's not confirmed, just letting you Miami fans know what i heard.
