Well, IMO the cinematography isnt "bad" at all, in fact its quite good, it just doesnt "fit" the film. I found it far too contemporary in its style and lighting, and too busy in its movements for a period piece. The camera followed specific characters with very aggressive movements. It reminded me of the TV show "The Office". It was The opposite of The white Ribbon, or The Elephant Man for example.

There is a 15 part mini-series by the BBC Masterpiece Theater of the Charles Dickens work "Bleak House". It takes place in 1852-1853. The lighting design there is utterly breathtaking. You can feel the size of the rooms. You can feel the different temperatures and the humidity. The camerawork was too "The Office" busy for my tastes, but the lighting was to die for.

I would rate this film 0/5 (like most recent other american comedies) which I do really rarely.

I feel nothing but digust and dumbness when seing them.

it's not really an Apatow film though. he was just a producer (not even executive producer) and one of three who came up with the story and he didn't even write or direct it, so he didn't really have a whole lot to do here. this is much more Seth Rogen's and Evan Goldberg's film than Apatow's.

Thats about how I felt after watching that piece of crap a while back. Terrible film. Rogen was at his worst in that film. Got Em!!

I just received Revanche and Triangle from Amazon and borrowed the Three Colors Trilogy (after seeing The Double Life of Veronique and loving it) from the local library. That should keep me busy for a couple of days.

oh i thought you guys were talking about Observe and Report which i think is one of Rogens best/funniest movies... but i agree with you guys on this movie, it was awful and way to long, very overrated, but not as overrated as the hangover..

Czar did you reserve your steelbook for Inception at FYE yet?

Never seen Observe but I did like Zack & Miri though. Also man I think I am just gonna get the BB exclusive for Inception I think. Got Em!!
