I have amazon prime and my preordered copy of inception has not arrived yet. It shipped on the 6th and says its in transit. The problem is that the last listed activity is a departure scan in Reno, Nv on the 6th. The destination is Texas. It says the expected delivery is on the 8th, but it's already the 9th. So idk. Just give it more time? There hasn't been any activity in 3 days and I have 2-day shipping. Anybody else not get theirs yet? Probably just backed up due to Christmas.

[Show spoiler] You probably just made a mistake in your typing though lol ![]() Anyways, yes. To answer the guys question that is exactly right, they needed to feel falling aswell not just being blown up. Last edited by beanham22; 12-09-2010 at 06:37 PM. |

One of the first things I thought about while watching this film was when I was in Jr. High and I came home from school to watch "Alien".
I recall laying on the couch and the sequence in which Dallas, Ripley, and Ash enter the medical room to check up on Kane was on the TV. I fell asleep and it felt like at least 5 minutes. When I woke up, all three were still at the entrance of the room. For years that puzzled me. Watching "Inception" and thinking about that event in my life made me feel a lil sane for a short moment!! |

Ariadne is the architect, those people you named are the subjects, I know I'm not getting that completely right. You still see her in that basement talking to Cobb about how the third level will be the hospital...

Anyway, it's like the Matrix in some ways. Almost a ripoff off considering almost every review of this movie brings the matrix up, except less its much less creative than the matrix. Pretty much looks like a regular movie, except that it's got a crazy concept to it. Last edited by bytor_one; 12-09-2010 at 07:56 PM. |

Yes Ariadne is the architect, but she just creates the dreams. She gives the layouts to the people and they recreate it for their dream. They never actually go into one of her dreams.

The only reason reviewers bring The Matrix into the discussion is so they can be lazy and have a quick, "If you liked The Matrix you'll love this!" type of claim, in order to negate in depth writing. It's called lazy writing. Last edited by aggienader08; 12-09-2010 at 08:06 PM. |
