From the 80's, to Comic Book Heroes & Villains, sequels and prequels, the 2011 movie slate looks very diverse. Which one will become the next Blockbuster or the Biggest Bomb since Ishtar?
here we go with official release dates (subject to change of course)

4/12 - Scream 4 - With the main original survivors back as well as Wes Craven back in the director's chair. Kevin Williamson sets the new decade, new rules and hopes for a new trilogy.
4/19 - Fast Five - Vin, Walker, Brewster, with the Rock on their tale - check out the trailer on IMDB, it looks promising.

5/20 - Thor - early teaser trailer has this one an all out FX spectacular. Hopefully the story will hold up. Big Summer on tap for Marvel Studios.
5/26 - Kung Fu Panda 2 - Like the first one wasn't enough.

6/3 - X-Men: First Class - a prequel featuring how Professor X and Magneto got their start. Featuring an all new cast as well.
6/10 - Super 8 - JJ Abrams goes back to 'Cloverfield' territory with this creature movie. But it's not a sequel or spin-off.
6/17 - Green Lantern - teaser trailer looks great, Ryan Reynolds stars, DC needs a nice hit (outside of Batman) to build up to the Justice League feature film.
6/24 - Disney'Pixar's Cars 2 - Your kids will be excited about this one.
6/24 - Rise of the Apes - an origin story set before the 1968 classic, set in modern times San Francisco.

7/1 - Transformers: Dark of the Moon - teaser trailer on IMDB. I love how they are using real History within this fictional story.
7/8 - Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - Captain Jack is back and this time he goes after the fountain of youth with Barbossa and Blackbeard as his foe.
7/15 - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part II - The Conclusion to the Potter Phenomenon all comes to a head.
7/22 - Captain America: The First Avenger - Marvels second film of the summer season has high hopes and a major budget to full fill expectations.
7/29 - Cowboys & Aliens - With James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) this War of the Worlds meets High Plains Drifter looks bad ass.
7/29 - The Smurfs - A CGI 80's remix.

8/19 - Conan The Barbarian (2011) - Reboot , sans Arnold sans any hope of a new franchise.
8/26 - Final Destination 5 - As if the last movie using the title THE FINAL DESTINATION wasn't enough, but money talks and death walks.

11/18 - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I - the first of the last chapter in this blood sucking teen bopper frannchise.

12/16 - Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol - Cruise is back one more time to hand of the torch to Jeremy Renner
12/16 - Sherlock Holmes II - Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are back taking on his most famous nemesis Professor Moriaty.
