My older Panasonic DMP-BD55 BD player doesn't want to cooperate no more!
![]() It doesn't load those BD titles at all: 1. "Igor" 2. "Milk" 3. "Righteous Kill" 4. "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" 5. "Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day" * All from Alliance. The unit display says No Read. ...And all my discs are totally clean and scratch-free! (I even reclean them to make sure). I even did a Reset. But many of my other BD titles don't have any problem! Could it be those discs from Alliance are bad? ...And several other BD titles take much more time to load, and some break into pixelization! ![]() So the Picture is totally wasted, and the Audio lost into the labyrinth of inertia! ![]() Was wondering if other people also experienced that? _________________________________ Anywho, my guess is that the laser assembly is now out of focus and that makes this BD player CAPUT! ![]() ![]() ![]() Nothing last forever! So, I decided to try another brand; a Sony BDP-S570 for only $169.99 Canadian dollars (plus taxes) from Future Shop. ![]() I hate Sony (the company and their bad business tactics); and I tought I would never buy another Sony product. But here it is now! ![]() We'll see how long that one will last... => Anyway, if someone has any info about why my Panny BD55 finally gave up on me, perhaps it can be resuscitated. ...And by the way, it has the latest firmware update (version 2.2). Merry Holidays! ![]() Bob Last edited by LordoftheRings; 12-27-2010 at 08:37 AM. Reason: title |
