Oh, she'll notice. I see people on here "sneaking" stuff past the wives and wonder wtf is going on in that household.
Actually we are fairly close to our goal. The most expensive thing we need is new carpet and i refuse to go cheap on that. I want zzzzzz best. Most of the rest just requires lots of elbow grease and multiple trips to Ikea and home depot.
Most of it is my fault anyway, since i initiated the whole thing by repainting the whole interior of our home last year. I'm pretty OCD about my house. I have to clean the crap out of it before i will allow myself to "relax" with a movie. I think this renovation is just an extension of that "problem."

I know this is off topic, but has anyone seen that show "Animal Hoarders" on animal planet? I'm just amazed at how far people will let things go. Some of the episodes will make you gag. When i think my house is dirty, i just watch an episode of that.

watched TSN for the first time on tuesday when the blu-ray dropped, and after a few hectic days of work, i could have popped in ANY other blu-ray i own, but The Social Network creeped into my head and it refused to leave. so alas, i watched it again

just as enjoyable as the first viewing

we'll see what i say after i see Black Swan, but for now, i would really enjoy seeing The Social Network win Best Picture this year. it is far and away the best time i've had watching a film (released in 2010) and the best made film i've seen (released in 2010).

if you are an action movie fan, this is a must see (not have). Otherwise, this movie will be a very bad expeprience for everyone else.

A tank falling from a ski? A mean it cant get crazier than that.

I forgot how awesome this movie is.I love the atmosphere it creates and the unsettling score and ambient noises.

Love the fact that you only see the Alien a handful of times too as it creates a sense of unknowing and suspense.

The Picture quality I thought was superb for a 30+ year old film and the majority of the film holds up well.

Agreed. I had somewhat of an understanding of how brutal Ballet was before seeing it, and it helped. The physical demands and athelticism required are the same as world class athletes at the top of any sport. And more. Some of the poses and positions they strike are unnatural (like a baseball pitchers throws) and take a toll on their bodies. Add to this that they are "acting" as well during a performance. And behind stage, you have the cutthroat competition, the endless training, the strict diets etc.

Happened to me too however, not as drastic. At least you made it out to be quite a night and had the drive to ponder the film. Beats netflixing it!

It was a good experience. Worth the drive for sure. It was a Big Screen Must for me.

I say before Black Swan, I would record it just in case you don't get everything the first time and want to watch it again.

Are they showing it in HD and in its original aspect ratio, 1.85:1? If they arent, I'd rent it on Blu-ray.

I dont think the order is important because they are totally different types of movies.

Possibly Burton's best work to date, great performances from Baldwin, Davis, Keaton and Ryder, always loved this movie, even if the scenes in the ghost world scared me as a child. Don't let the giant worm get ya!

Aliens is one of the best action films of all-time but if someone else likes Resurrection more, why do you care? Watching Before the Devil Knows You're Dead but taking a break to watch NFL football. Tomei, Hawke, Finney and Hoffman are incredible in this, definitely a solid heist movie that I usually forget when I discuss heist movies for some reason. 4.5/5 for the movie, 4/5 for the transfer, recommended to those who like tragic dramas with a little heist mixed in.
