3D causing problems for me in this hobby

I think 3d will be the last major technology advancement when it comes to movies on discs for a long time to come. 3d is slowly becoming mainstream and it seems like every major film now is going to be 3d. Slowly the world will convert as I eventually will to 3d tv's. Then all popular movies will be converted to 3d and re-sold like Inception is going to be.

This brings me to my problem. I wanna keep collecting Steelbooks but with the slow change to 3d taking place I will have to re-buy all these movies once again. This will be the second time purchasing Batman,Heat,Kill Bill and so on. Some will be able to afford this but for me its a real issue im struggling with now. Keep collecting or just wait for 3d conversions in the future.

Pretty much only popular movies are gonna get the steelbook treatment so you know these will be the same movies that will get the 3d treatment in the future then youll want the 3d version. I have reached a crossroads lol im stressing out!!
