Felt bad about a mistake I made at work, even though we caught it and even my boss was like, do not feel bad at all. SO... I baked 4 doz cookies and I feel better at least we caught it and set the student right and I know I will not make the same mistake again

Constant corporate restructuring and political BS with the union, maybe a little to do with the fact that all these people that were suppose to retire haven't (can't blame them). There's just so many factors, I try to stay positive while being realistic which is never an easy task.

On a happier note, here's Harvey and one of my cats Gus.

Looks like they were in a middle of a massage and did NOT want to be bothered.

But I'm sorry to here that dude, coporate gets on my nerves a lot of time. Too much money goes up at top, where it's not needed. Even if the CEO lost his job he'd still have millions. What gives?

It amuses me how many students in my college today acted like their lives were ruined because they didn't get multiple A grades. I've always had a relaxed attitude to grades, though. The ability to remember facts and figures doesn't make you a wise and interesting person.

That maybe true, but I fear if I don't get enough grades I won't get into grad school. I need MIT!

Exactly. If you're looking to get an advanced degree, grades matter to some extent. Once you get into that advanced degree program, they may matter even more. For lawyer, most law firms want the top 20% of the class. You only get into the top 20% by making good grades.

It just sucks going to school full time and having fulltime job.

And I was thinking about going to law school.....

I didn't have to do school and job at the same time, though I did study for two bar exams while working full time, and that was hard enough.

Good luck with your choice. Not sure where you're located, but I know it's a difficult time for law students and young lawyers finding good jobs right now in the U.S. Economy sucks.

I hate the field I'm in. Not the work itself, but the system of how the filed operates. Anyway, I'm thinking about school, but I need something that doesn't require a long time to finish as I need to work. I'm thinking about Phlebotomy as a doorway into the medical field. The complete course is only three months, and I can get a grant to pay the full cost.

I miss my PS3 and now regret paying $400 for something that didn't even last 3 years but I am glad I should be getting a tax rebate soon to buy a new player with.

Probably not, don't play PS3 games and don't want to pay $300 just for a BD player. I may get another PS3 but it will be years from now, when they're $200 or $250.
