This may have been discussed somewhere else, but I was just wondering if anyone knew why, certain films will get a Blu release in another country but not in the US. I don't mean a catalog title, but a new release.
I'll use "Kaboom" as an example. It has a french Blu-Ray, but will only be getting a DVD release here in May. It seems just a tad on the stupid side to me, that there is already a Blu-Ray transfer available, if the US company doesn't want to take the time to do it themselves why not just license the existing one, and use that for a release? |
