I got mine today in the special disc packaging... I think it's cool. Mine wouldn't light up at first but after playing with the button for a bit I got it to work. It doesn't always seem to work when I push the button, however when it does light up, it stays lit up for me. I even had it sit for 30 minutes and it didn't turn itself off, I had to push the button again to get it to turn off. Not sure if mine is defective in the way the button doesn't always work, but it's nice that it stays lit.
