Default DVD region question

Hi all, I live in Mexico just a few minutes away from the States and as a result I end up buying Region 1 and Region 4 Dvds.

I had no problem with my old Region Free DVD player but now I want to get my first ever Blu-ray player and found out they are either DVD region 1 or DVD region 4 along with BD region A.

Is there a place to get a player with BD region A and DVD multi region or at least region 1 and 4?

I want this for 2 reasons, I don't want to have 2 players connected to the TV and I really don't know how good Dvds look upscaled.

Is that Upscale "thing" for DVDs a MUST HAVE feature or it isn't that good and I could live happy watching my existent dvds with standard dvd quality in case I have no other option but to connect both, my actual DVD player and a BD player.

Thanks in advance guys.
