According to this, they have cancelled the HD DVD promotion group press conference to re-evaluate the impact WB's decision has on HD DVD and the success of any HDM format.
I think they might realize that this move is a power move to give Blu-ray the momentum needed to win. The fact is, RIGHT NOW HD DVD can do NOTHING but take money away from the winning format, and delay the success of any HDM format.
They just might, MIGHT, decide that it really and truly is best for the entire industry to give up.
Now it will be a while before it happens, but this might be the first step. All they are going to do now is get in the way of the victory of HDM. DVD is our biggest challenge, and HD DVD can only get in the way.
