That's nice of them, I think that was confirmed about three weeks ago though.

I'm still getting mine in person on day one. I was thinking about only get one trilogy and waiting for the full set to come down in price but if the full set has the three bonus discs and not just the ninth disc. It's a no-brainer, I don't want to miss out on those extras....

As long as we're not fighting over the same copy I don't mind. I forgot to ask are you getting the whole Saga? I know you're not mad on the prequels but I can't see you passing on those extras....

Also I picked this up in my local library today for a £1. Not bad and it's the 1st time I've seen it.

It is there's, a glossy book inside which looks mint, the library stickers will need a blowtorch to get them off though. On another note; I don't know how long it's been in the library's possession but five minutes of it been in ours my Dad dropped it smashing the disc one hub into pieces.... He's got about a dozen The Beatles CD's and none of those are intact either.

Aww, i think it's quite handsome... Seriously though, it looks like a poster for some 80's B-horror movie! Yeah, but still a nice find. Questionable cover art and all!

Awesome cover, lol. For what it's worth, regardless of questionable quality of the film itself, John Williams is a fantastic composer.

I wonder if some of the added in CGI in eps 4-6 has been tweaked again for the blu release, wouldn't put it past Lucas.

lol that reminds me of the Dreamcast game boxes, so delicate. I had broken a few boxes hinges from general wear and tear, and in one case my mum standing on it.
I went to a GAME who at the time where selling the empty boxes. I bought a few and as we were leaving I had passed the bag to my mum for some reason for about 20 seconds, then the next thing she dropped them on the stone floor cracking most if not all of them lol

Has Lucasfilm given any new details on the "and mores..." of the special features?

I'm still hoping that "The Beginning", "Within A Minute", etc. will be included!!!

I'm hoping empire of dreams will be included as i thought that was a great doc. I wonder if TPM will have the new cgi Yoda which was glimpsed in one of the special features for episode III (I think...could've been OT).

I'm getting the whole saga and like both trilogies. Objectively the prequels are definitely weaker, but I still really like them all. If nothing else TPM gave us one of the best Star Wars duels and accompanying soundtrack pieces ever.

I'm sure the Empire of Dreams documentary will be included on the 7th or 8th disc (more likely 8th) in the Lucasfilm Archives, along with all other major special features from the DVDs, and the CGI Yoda has been confirmed as appearing in TPM.

Good to know, I still think the ESB puppet is excellent but the TPM one was awful, far too muppety =P the cgi yoda more accurately reflects a younger ESB Yoda

Completely agree, and it's good to see a positive response to the CGI Yoda.

The TPM Yoda was definitely the worst looking one of them all. I even thought so in the cinema, quite young then, it looked terrible. Good thing it's been replaced.

I don't know we they didn't use a copy of the original. Yoda was nearly at the end of his life (well twenty-odd years away from it) he was 800+ years old I don't think we would have questioned it if he'd looked them same. I imagine the rubber puppet from the original series had rotted though. They did quite get the movement and talking right either I think they mention it in the Ep. II documentary From Puppets to Pixels.

I took scans of the discs from the CD I bought yesterday. I think they'd look awesome for the Blu's. I hope they commission new artwork for the discs and don't go all bogstandard on us.
