Question Will my LG 37LH55 TV fully support all a Blu-ray player has to offer?

I own a LG 37LH55 TV, and I am looking to buy my first Blu-ray player. I hardly know anything about HDTVs and Blu-ray. I have been researching on this forum and other places about it though. Anyway here are the specs of my TV:

Now I don't know much, but I know that Blu-ray puts out in 1080p. My TV says it also puts out in 1080p. So I know it will fully utilize Blu-ray's 1080p. However, I was wondering if the other specs on my TV like hertz, refresh rate, aspect ratio, contrast ratio, etc. is up to par to utilize everything a Blu-ray player has to offer.

I am looking at a Sony S580 Blu-ray player, that would be what I would be hooking up to my TV.

Thanks for the help!

I did a search of the forum about TV capability with Blu-ray. The only post I found relevant was this:
