I've seen some people upset with the idea of ID4 and others being MPEG-2. I will admit, I would prefer it to be AVC or VC-1, but I think MPEG-2 can be done right and look great.
For example, I am currently watching Layer Cake for the second time on Blu-Ray and I think it looks fantastic. |
