Alley Member Member since:Jan 2007	Does blu-ray make sub par effects stand out more? Ok, I rented crank last night. Awesome PQ, just like everybody says. This is what HD is meant to look like! But that part where he crashed his car and it was going up the escilator? OMG. That looked like the fakest thing I have ever seen. So does high def make sub par CG and green effects just stand out more and make then look downright bad becuase the picture is so clear? I mean, it looked REALLY bad IMO. Hopefully others who seen the movie can chime in to what they thought.
