Default C'mon Disney!!!!

When reading on UltimateDisney.com about the Rocketeer Blu-ray, they made an interesting note:

Quote:
It will become the second oldest live-action movie the studio has released to Blu-ray, trailing only the original Tron.
Then I started thinking, aside from Tron and Rocketeer, all the live action titles Disney (actual Disney, not TouchStone) have been from 2000 or later. So, where's all the catalog live action from the 90s, 80s or before. Where's stuff like Jungle 2 Jungle, The Santa Clause 1 or even Flubber? Surely they must already have high def transfers. Then there's classics like Mary Poppins, which has had countless DVD releases with what appear to be a transfer from an HD source? And where's all the animated stuff sure we they're making their way to Blu-ray but at what rate, we get three in the span of a couple of months then we go six months with nothing.

Remember in the early days of DVD, they came up with the Gold Classic Collection, where they vowed to release a different catalog title every month. And for a year or two, they didn't just meet that promise but sometimes gave us more. How about a collection like that with the same promise?
