Ive got a dumb question,I received a dvd recorder & since it doesnt have a turner I connected the video-audio from my cable box to the recorder,but this way to watch tv with audio-video connections from my cable box the dvd recorder has to stay on it doesnt pass though like a rf signal, the recorder always has to stay on correct?thanks
