Afternoon everyone.
Going to be getting my 1st plasma in a couple of months time and as usual I've been reading the various forums getting my research together. I seem to be seeing a lot about "breaking in" Plasmas for copious amounts of hours so you don't get image retention/burn? Am I really going to have to watch films in full screen and watch programs that don't have logos in them? For 200 hours? My GF has E4/ITV2 on pretty much most evenings during the week so am I going to have to tell her that this isn't an option for a month? While I am excited about potentially getting one, it seems a hell of a lot of effort to watch some TV and films (of which what will mostly be viewed on the TV). Can someone clear this up once and for all (or point me in the right direction) as to what is the exact deal here. Surely I should be able to open up the TV, plug whatever I need to in and just watch what I want in any format whenever I want..... |
