Default LCD or Plasma

as for flat screen...

I like Plasmas over an LCD... but for each I would say...

Plasma - Pioneer KURO

LCD - Sony XBR series

I don't watch much TV at all. I mostly watch movies, which is why I'm planning on getting a Bru-ray player. I do ocasionally play games. So based on this would it be better to get an LCD or a Plasma of around 46" to 51". I guess the PS3 would make sense as it can do both (play BD movies and games) I mostly watch movies though so I'm not sure if LCD or Plasma would be the best bet. I will get a new receiver though that supports both of the two new audio formats. The new receiver combined with a BD Player should give me true 7.1 uncompressed audio right? Thanks for the Help.
