I like the Jim Mora hire. I always felt he got screwed with how Vick was in ATL, nobody was reaching Vick at that time.

Well it looks like Sumlin is the next Texas A&M head coach. I think he's going to have a tough time winning consistently in the SEC.

Even worse A&M is going to be added to the Western division of the SEC, which I get the feeling will be the dominant division of the conference for quite a few more years. Feels weird seeing Missouri added to the Eastern division when in fact they'll be the 3rd western-most school in the SEC after Texas A&M and Arkansas.

Yeah it makes no sense that Missouri is going to the SEC West. They really need to do a realignment if you ask me. I know they don't want to split up Alabama and Auburn, but I'm sure they can make sure that rivalry doesn't go away.

Almost every year the BCS title game gets pushed back. It used to be right around New Years, but last season and this season it's the latest date so far at January 9th and 10th. Just imagine how stupid it would be if the Super Bowl took place 4-6 weeks after each team played their last game. That's how D1 football is.

Congrats to Robert Griffin, III on his Heisman Trophy win tonight.

he certainly is a great quarterback and is deserving of such an award.

of course i would've loved for it to go to my Trent, but he won the Doak Walker award and will get another chance to make a statement in january against lsu.

I dont work for D2 anymore i work D 1-AA now, or as you guys know it the FBS. But yes i also have worked D-1 and those Coaches that i know voted because there was to much riding on it, they did not leave it to an SID or an Assistant, yes i am sure some Coaches do, but it has been discussed in great length at AFCA coaches meetings since 03 and the coaches for the most part at all levels have said they would do their on voting. Yeah, I'm watching it. I graduated from USC in 1986, so I never experienced his two playing years at USC first-hand, but I remember a lot of it from TV.

D1-AA is FCS, not FBS.

If you look at his stats the only time he was throwing picks was when he was playing above average/ good teams.
