Any suggestions on what the best speaker stands are for the RC-10? I would prefer to purchase off amazon, but not sure which to purchase. Any help would be appreciated....

Hey Shaggy, I can recommend these: http://www.standsandmounts.com/vtiuf...ilveruf29.aspx

If you check my gallery you can see them with my RC-10's in action. They are very solid and heavy stands. I also included a short pictorial on how I filled mine with sand.

Just pulled the trigger on RC-10 and RC-LCR. RC-LCR use to be about $650 and I wanted it so badly, glad it dropped below $300. Use to have the Take Classic then upgraded to the C series (you can see in my gallery). Ever since I switched to Polk, I missed the Energy sound of the C series. I'll be using my C-50 that was stored away for surround duties, don't plan on upgrading them... at least I hope . Also ordered Aura Bass Shakers, this weekend should be fun hooking everything up. Can't wait until it arrives!
Congrats, I love my RC's, I'm sure you will too.

Oh you will love the RC line! Especially the LCR! It will be a definite upgrade from what you had/have.

Congrats on the purchase mtgredline

The RC-LCR BLEW ME away the first time I upgraded from the C-C100.

Seems that everyone is jumping on the RC bandwagon.

I could not find my C-50, could of swore they were in the living room closet, thinking my brother friends stole them but im not pointing fingers.
Well im now looking for surrounds. How are the CR10 with RC-LCR/RC-10 as mains? It seems like a good option given my limited space for mounting them on wall but I don't know how well they match the RC. Was planning to get another set of RC-10 but they're big for my wall although I might consider it.

Edit: Nvm! Apparently my uncle took them, would not have guess it was him.. sneaky sneaky. Gonna get them back tomorrow. What a relieve!

I have a question... When I originally wired my speakers to my receiver I made the wire to my left speaker 3 feet and the wire to my right speaker about 6 feet because of the further distance between that speaker and the receiver. Does this have any effect on sound? Should the speaker wires be equal length or does it not really matter?

Should not matter, all mine are different lengths too.

Edit: Actually it depends on the gauge wire used, there's a chart somewhere on this forum that shows the min/max length for each wire gauge. For the length you describe between 3 to 6 feet shouldn't matter though.

because your receiver has auto-calibration it will set the delays and all that so its time aligned. However if you ever add an Integrated amp or pre-amp that doesn't have auto-calibration you will need them to be the same length.

I would like to know this as well. I am debating between the rc and veritas 5.0 setup with an svs subwoofer mainly for home theater when my tax return comes in.

For H-T use you cant go wrong with either... I have not heard the new Veritas line, however from what I have read, they are probably brighter and slightly more forward sounding than the RC line...

Someone chime in who has actually listened to both?

Hey folks,

Just got my RC-LCR's today to go with my RC-70's... I ordered it from overstock. Its good to have all three front speakers match, before that i had a JBL balboa series center.
