This is available in Australia. At JB Hi-fi, and that's the only place I've seen it.
But, I have not bought it. Why? Well, a couple of reasons... 1. This isn't listed on this site at all. The first three came out slowly, I imagine the rest are on the way. But I have no confirmation that the others have been released/remastered in HD. 2. There's two movies on each disk. This seems a little dodgy. I know they're ninety minute films, and all three and a half hours of King Kong fit on one disk with glorious HD resolution, but still, I smell something fishy... So, my question is; Is this a real BD? Has anyone outside of Australia (or even outside of JB Hi-fi shoppers) heard of this? I don't want to waste my money on a bunch of DVD quality films published on a BD, when the real thing comes out at some later date in the future. Thanks all. |
