Maybe this is just me, but if the storyline consist of a brother type situation, it sounds a little like The Boondock Saints.
Personally, I'm against this film being remade. A classic action film that could easily attract modern day action fans without having to spin a modern interpretation out of the storyline shouldn't be touched. And I'm not against remakes either, I just feel the films that are picked and chosen to be remade should be a more select group, not any film coming from a different decade that someone views as being profitable. The Crazies, nice remake of a film that was perfect for a remake, Red Dawn being remade, great original film, but unnecessary remake. |
