Canada Renting blu-rays

I live in Calgary. With the closing of Blockbuster outlets and the reduction of Rogers outlets to 3 last year, I had to drive about 15 minutes to rent a blu-ray. I found out today that the remaining 3 Rogers outlets will no longer be renting as of the end of this week. Blu-rays at these locations will be for sale only. Which means that the only place in a city of a million people that has blu-rays for rentals is a locally owned store, Casablanca Video. Unfortunately, it is about a 25 minute drive.

I read at the Home Theatre Review site that blu-ray players are now in 26% of American households. I quess they must be all buying the blu-rays that they want to view. However, there are a lot of movies that I'm only interested in renting such as the one I rented today, The Darkest Hour. No way I'm going to buy it but I don't mind paying $6.00 to rent it. Casablanca Video, here I come.
