Can remixes of films on Blu-Ray Disc sound good on blu-ray? That is a question I've asked myself since the format started out in 2006. And my answer as a fan of movies and of the blu-ray format has always been if the sound mix stay's true to the original mix it can sound great but if it is not it can sound not so good. 2 examples I can think of are the re mixes on dvd of Jaws which is also coming out on blu-ray in August of this year and Superman The Movie which was re released on blu-ray in 2006 and 2011. In the case of both of those films those remixes they sound alot different than when they originally came out in theaters and on vhs and laserdisc in the home formats.
