Do you mean from the laserdisc / dvd versions? Because sadly, not everything is.

Also, there is a difference between the US and European version - the US version has the Silly Symphony short "Little Hiawatha" on it.

+ most importantly, it has the Audio Commentary, which some European editions got, while others didn't

That is a pivotal point, yes. I remember Wasim being completely let down by not having it on his UAE version.

Bastards. But oh well, I don't need that Hiawatha short anyway.

It is a charming short, one of the last Silly Symphonies, with fantastic watercolor layouts and great staging. Stateside, it can be found on the Walt Disney Treasures set "Silly Symphonies Vol. II".

Do we have any confirmation on the HonD BD yet? For those just joining us, apparently there is a Spanish release date.

It may very well be a rumor, so can someone mail Disney Spain?

EDIT: Sorry guys, I read over the line that said it was made-up. Still really hoping for this and Hercules to come to BD though!

that site is infamous for spreading rumours. but we only have 20 titles or so that haven't got release dates and there is a chance (a very slim chance) that Disney puts everything out in 2013.

Yeah, there was one HD video on YouTube of one of the songs and it looked terrific!

While it would be nice to get their catalog out so quickly, I wish they would spread it out more. Certainly, it is easier on the wallet if it's more spread out, but also, they're probably not going to ramp up the Diamond line, so we have to wait until 2015-16 to have every DAC.

Pinocchio has been dropped
101 Dalmatians has been dropped
Peter Pan has a mysterious DVD release in the Middle East on December 2012 (we'll have to wait what that is)

We have 20 movies left, we had 13 announced in 2012 (not counting the (re)releases of Winnie, Pinocchio & FatH).

Not so. It is pretty apparent that at least 101 Dalmatians and Pinocchio are being dropped from the Diamond line. I would suspect that either Peter Pan or Jungle Book will be dropped as well (possibly Sleeping Beauty, only because it has already had a blu-ray release, but it is obviously one of their most popular films). If this is the case, there are 4 more diamonds after Cinderella, so these will be released by the end of 2014.

I personally don't mind much if the special features on these releases are lacking, especially on the "lesser" releases. If movies start coming out in the same state as the international releases of Tarzan, I will be disappointed, though. I am still holding out hope that the longer we hear nothing of a US release of Tarzan, the better the chance that Disney is improving the quality of that for the US release. I have to believe that if the movie comes out at the same quality as we've seen, the complaints in the US may be enough to get a replacement though.

The 2009 editions are out of print and really hard to get. That's why they were Platinum.. There is some leftover stock right now
Sleeping Beauty hasn't been dropped as far as we know. Pinocchio has been dropped though. It is getting a re-release in a lot of countries

I think the whole "Diamond" line is going to be mothballed as a 20th century business model.

Is there any news on bluray releases for the following films:

The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Hercules
Mulan
Lilo & Stitch

It is rumoured that The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be released in Spring 2013 according to this site -
http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/The_Hun..._of_Notre_Dame

Thanks.

I wouldn't be surprised if those films, along with Aladdin and Jungle Book, are the next batched to be released in 2013.

The Diamond line has just lost all meaning now tbh, and it goes all the way back to 2010 when Fantasia was dropped and replaced by nothing, then we find out Pinocchio and 101 Dalmations have been dropped, and now this Peter Pan DVD emerges, Urgh.
