Anybody tell me, who was the guy that showed up as the 'engineer'? Looks lot like Greg Plitt. He also did the body for Dr Manhattan and Terminator Salvation.

Oh, and 3rd woman from the right, with the shirt slightly unbuttoned.

David Fincher?...

There's a lot of hate for 'Alienł', but he sure made all of you eat it with movies like 'Fight Club', 'Se7en' and 'Zodiac'.
There were a lót of issues in that production, which would be different today and he's clearly had a lót of practice between then and now.
It could be great if he figures out a good way to do it, and it would help if other people involved with 'Prometheus' would return of course.

But then, I don't know how the relationship between him and Fox and also the producers is.

Avatar lines:

"Yeah, who's bad?"
"Come get some!"

There were several lines that made me cringe. I was thinking, who says that anymore.

I know he wrote the script over a decade ago, so why not update the language, or better yet, don't use current popular culture/slang in movies that take place in the future.

Cameron has always had pretty basic dialogue.
In my opinion those kinds of cheesy lines shouldn't have been in '80s-movies or any other movie either, cause it has always put me off.
Cheesy is cheesy and typical is typical, the time and place doesn't matter. :P

I took another pick with the Engineer but this time with my Weyland Corp shirt. Also took on with the ladies.

These are the badges they were giving away. Pretty cool souvenir!

No help from Lauzirika (Prometheus blu-ray producer) on Prometheus BD details.

Charles de Lauzirika was asked about his work on Prometheus and The Amazing Spider-Man. The unfortunate thing is that he really was held back from revealing too much because one hadn’t really been given a lot of specific details and the other barely even hit theaters. However, he compared his work on Prometheus to his work on the Alien: Quadrilogy and the Blade Runner collector’s editions despite the lack of time.

I'm starting to think that 10/11/12 is just the release day for the Blu-ray/DVD. I recall reading on another forum that the reason the Blu-ray/DVD hasn't been officially announced/detailed by Fox is because Prometheus still has yet to open in several markets...and listing the contents of the special features would be potential spoilers at this point. I have a feeling (after the somewhat lackluster SDCC promotion) that the viral campaign is simply working up to the home video release this fall. As much as I'd love to see an extended cut or Paradise announcement, I seriously doubt it at this point.

I don't believe the October 9th date was officially announced by Fox. It was hinted at by various places due to it being the closest Tuesday to the 11th. I think the UK release date of the 1st is the only official one.

More from Charles de Lauzirika on the Prometheus BD. Sounds like details have not been settled yet. “Every time it's like reinventing the wheel,” said Charles de Lauzirika, who is working on the Blu-rays for Prometheus and The Amazing Spider-Man. “We keep wanting to get into this comfort zone, but every time it seems there’s a curve ball, or something from the studio, or changes in fans articulating what they want. The landscape is changing, and it’s getting harder in extremely frustrating ways.”

Looks like Prometheus is just shy of $300 million worldwide:

http://www.boxoffice.com/statistics/...rometheus-2012

Also looks like this is the last week it's playing in theaters (in my area, at least). May have to go see the last showing on Thursday night.
