What is this about Blu-ray must be upgraded?

Hello Eric welcome to the forums. They are talking about players that will be profile 2.0. This does not mean that the current 1.0 and 1.1 players won't work, they won't be able to access certain features. The PS3 and the Panasonic BD-30 and soon BD-50 will have those 2.0 features. Sony recently announced players that will be profile 2.0 coming out soon. Do you currently have a player? If not I suggest either a PS3 or the Panny or Sony if you want all the interactive features. It should be noted that profile 1.1 is usuable on the Panny BD-30 and the PS3, and Resident Evil: Extinction, and War currently offer PiP and more are on the way.
