I'm having a rather odd issue with the LFE on Safe and I'm very interested in getting some feedback from people here...
The Alliance Canadian release is the typical combo pack (BD, DVD/digital copy) and while there is correct DD 5.1 from the DVD and proper DTSMA from the BluRay, when bumping down the MA to regular DTS (older receiver), there is no LFE track whatsoever. The optional French language track has operating LFE. So what I'm wondering is, is this specifically a typical Alliance screw-up or is it consistant with the U.S. release as well? Can anyone confirm whether using Toslink for 5.1 affects the LFE on this release? Out of all my discs... this is a first. Never seen this before. |
