Just picked up my copy of Marvel's The Avengers from Target (3D version with the 5th bonus disc). Much to my dismay, the 5th disc (bonus disc) is in a cardboard sleeve and the 4 other discs are double stacked inside a Viva style two disc case.
Would anyone be willing to share with me a cover for the 3D version of Marvel's The Avengers sized for either a Viva style 5 disc case (15 mm spine) or a Vortex style 5 disc case (22 mm spine)? Much appeciated! Mikey |

I expect an awesome Criterion-esque designed case and artwork for Moonrise Kingdom! That might be the first release that I totally change the packaging for, just because it'll look much better that way alongside my other Wes Anderson Criterion's
![]() Also, has anyone ever done a Criterion for Fantastic Mr. Fox? Last edited by Black Sabbath; 09-25-2012 at 06:33 PM. |

A semi custom cover related question here...
Can anyone recommend a scanner that will scan in good quality (aka not have that "scanned" look to it that old and lower quality scanners tend to have). I am completely without a scanner at the moment and my previous one (which was part of a printer/scanning combo unit that crapped out) made crappy scans. I'd like to not spend more than I absolutely have to, but I am willing to pay a little more if it will make a difference quality-wise. There are some instances where I have images from other things that I'd like to scan to use for a cover, and there are other instances where I would like to scan existing covers to make modifications to them rather than having to start completely from scratch (for instance, there are a few covers that I would just like to remove the combo back notation that says "Blu-Ray+DVD," etc. from the top while still otherwise being happy with most of the cover, itself. So, I'm hoping to get a scanner that can do high quality so that if I scan a cover, make those modifications and print it out, it would look as close to as good of quality as the original cover. |

Hi all.
Finally, the very last cover in the Bond-series I've been doing since June. But fear not, I have plenty of Bonds on my books. ![]() The front is the official Bond 50 poster, but I added all the flair to the background to liven it up a bit and to differentiate it from Drrnharr's cover which used the same poster. How'd you print the inner? Double sided one sheet, or two sheets? I print all of mine on Canon Photo Glossy Paper Plus II, but it's only glossy on one side, and when I print with UndercoverXP, even if they're in the BD preset, they never match perfect, so it's like the only option I have is to do 2 and cut them even, and have a little thicker. Any suggestions? Looks great! |

![]() And I just flipped the paper over and put it back into the printer haha. I just printed it on regular paper for now, until I actually order another Criterion case and can really transfer it over, then I'll print it on nicer paper and probably do the same thing. Thanks by the way ![]() Also, that Dredd artwork is fantastic! I haven't seen the movie yet, but I would gladly blind buy it just for that artwork, no lie! |

![]() You're right, some of these movies are way too good to have the crappy artwork that they are bestowed with. That's what we are here for. ![]() |

![]() I've been looking for Indy covers. I've found a couple of options and they aren't bad, but none of them have been quite what I am looking for. These are perfect! I will likely only be using the four individual movie covers. I actually have a plan that will work out nicely (I even have some 3-disc cases on the way for this). I still have the Indiana Jones widescreen Trilogy box set from when they were originally released on DVD back in 2003 (if I recall the year correctly). It had the 3 movies plus an extra bonus disc. Also I got mine at Best Buy and they had an exclusive additional bonus disc with an old original featurette on Raiders of the Lost Ark. I also have the 2-disc Blu-Ray of Crystal Skull from its original release in 2008. So, what this means is that between these DVDs and Blu-Rays, I have 2 copies of each movie and 4 bonus features discs of some form or another. I'm basically going to make these into combo packs (even though in the case of the fourth film it will be two copies of the movie on Blu-Ray), and put a bonus disc with each one. Raiders will get that Best Buy exclusive Raiders disc since it's specific to that movie. Temple of Doom will have the bonus disc from the 2003 DVD box set. Last Crusade will get the bonus disc from the new Blu-Ray set of all 4 movies, and Crystal Skull will of course get the bonus disc from the original 2008 Blu-Ray release of KOTCS since it's specific to that movie. I'll probably just make a simple insert to put in the clips of each of the cases with the info, specs, and contents of the additional discs. ![]() |
