One possibility from Fox that rarely gets mentioned is The Legend of Hell House. And of course there's DiPalma's The Fury or Hammer's The Nanny. If TT really wanted to dig deep into the Fox catalogue, what about Dragonwyck? Or one of my favourite ghost stories, Jack Clayton's The Innocents?

But I guess you were thinking more about 80s Fox horror. Unfortunately, not a lot of 'neglected' genre titles come to mind from that period.

Not sure if The Legend of Hell House or The Innocents (they are both excellent films though) would fit the bill for a TT limited release given they are readily available outside the US and to anyone with a region free player.


I'd love to see the original The Fly make it out though.

There are endless possibilities with that MGM rumor. Too many good titles to mention.

I disagree - I hope they continue to release whatever they are selling...releases that they aren't selling out on won't keep them in business long term.

That's WB.MGM's pre-1986 library belongs to Warner.

The Time Machine is with Warner and I think at some point they will do some kind of special edition. They missed out on the 50th Anniversary idea in 2010.
I am actually surprised that and the original War of the Worlds havent gone HD.

I agree. It's better to just see what comes out than to speculate about dozens of titles.

My one hope is that TT gets the rights and releases the Anthony Michael Hall thriller "Out Of Bounds". It was a Columbia release and it was very underrated.

That movie used to come on HBO every other day in the late eighties. If we're listing our favorites then I have to go with Band of the Hand, Vibes, and 99 and 44/100 % Dead.

Paramount decided Pet Sematary was more worthy to release in October for thier 100th and Halloween. It was a missed opportunity to release War of the Worlds. I really do not understand thier thinking. Universal has gone all out for thier 100th, Paramount just sits there. I fear we may never see War of the Worlds on Blu ray the rate Paramount is going. Unless Criterion or Olive release it.
