I am very surprised the E.T. steel shipped already; I have spent some time the last couple of days thinking about canceling it - can't do that now

, but might ultimately end up returning it. With the $10 coupon, the digi and the steel are the same price, and the digi obviously has the "extra content" to offer with the book, plus the steel does seem a little plain.

I actually have 2 of the $10 coupons for the digibook; shame that at least one goes to waste; would have been nice if it could have been a general $10 off any of the 100th anniv titles, or even restricted to the digibooks - could have used it on Mockingbird or something.

Because I went to the order information page after logging into my account on the website and it says it has!

They're often late with sending shipping notice e-mails now anyway, I tend to always just check out the order info instead to get my up-to-date info.

Was debating whether or not to return to the store with it to return it and then buy it back using the $5 coupon, but I only paid an extra $1.50 for it online, and I got it today, so it saves on the trouble of having to print off a coupon, then finding a way to the store (I don't drive) and waiting in those long return lines... For the extra $1.50, I'm not going to bother with all that

Wow, nice. Really strongly considering the buy on this now. I reserved one to my local store thru the site and got a confirmation. Not sure how that process works, though - will they actually hold it? I can't get there today.... Should have just ordered it on Saturday night and saved 10% - idiot!!

Print the coupon off and bring it with you. Save $5 which is more than 10%.

Also yes, they will hold it for you, or they should, at the front CS desk where you do returns. Should be an online-pick-up sign there too for you.

However, the last 3 times I did an ISPU they picked the wrong item off the shelf. Luckily each time they still had what I wanted out on the floor, but don't expect these Cindy sets to last very long, so if they fulfilled your pick up, pray they got the right one for you.

Thanks. I have printed the coupon. I know the $5 off is more than 10% (only $3.50), but if I can't get there to pick it up before they release the hold and/or they are all gone, then 10% off would have been better than nothing at all.

I just might order one online now - paying full price - just to guarantee I get one (plus it probably costs me more than $5 in gas to actually get to the store). If I do get to the store, to use the coupon, I can always return the other copy, or keep it for a trade chip, or sell it on Kijiji or EBay. But, any way you slice it, I think I have to have that steelie...er, Viva!

Changing gears slightly, has there been any hint that Disney - in conjunction with Futureshop - might release Nemo 3D in a Viva? Hope so, just like I am impatiently waiting/hoping for Amazing Spidey to be released in a steel by FS & Sony...

This annoys me, and it happens every time. Mine hasn't shipped, it's been 'in progress' for the last week, which prevents any changes or cancelations.

But it still hasn't shipped, and probably won't until Friday or later, if previous patterns are anything to go by.

Avengers pre-order did arrive today, a solid 1 week late. Pretty much any pre-order I do with FS/BB sits for a few days after release for no reason. Customer care always has a script that' s normal, but hearing that other people are receiving items more promptly confirms they are saying nonsense.
