I went to pre-order "The Dark Knight Rises" on play.com and noticed that you can only order versions of the Blu-rays with Ultraviolet.
My question is this.
Can I still view the Blu-ray as I have done with all my ordinary Blu-rays or do I have to log onto some website in order to view the Blu-ray.
In other words...can I stick it in the tray and view it.
Cheers
Yeah, it'll be just like the rest of your Blu-rays, nothing to worry about. Ultraviolet is something separate. A code that allows you to get a digital copy of the movie in addition to the Blu-ray.

Edit: Yep it appears so! Well looks like I'll be cancelling that order!
It looks like the US set will be almost the same. THe only difference I'm seeing is the book in the US edition looks more like a paperback in the photo, and it specifically says on the front that it's a "Selection of Imagery from the Art and Making of the Dark Knight Trilogy". In other words, an excerpted photobook of the original

Wouldn't it be evil if WB releases The Dark Knight Trilogy first before The Dark Knight Rises?

Yes! What a bummer, as I really liked the UK boxart that was posted yesterday. I guess it was a fan mock up?
Oh well, at least I don't have to bother importing. Heck I might just hold off on the trilogy and wait for the Ultimate trilogy edition coming out in 2013.

UV digital copies are an extra that come with the blu-ray.

I'm holding out hope that it comes with every version and not just steelbooks or collections.

That's what i'm thinking, wouldn't be a problem if I owned steelbooks for the other two.

it looks like 2 books as the binding should be on the opposite side for 1 of the pictures if it was reversible cover.

so nobody knows if the reborn in dkr is same old 1 from amazon steelbook of dk

I'm guessing it's a lenticular cover with both Bane and Batman on it since there aren't two different product pages (that I can see)

The Steelbook you're linking to is the Best Buy exclusive one and it's merely a sneak peek of the full documentary that's coming out at BB with the release of TDKR

Default Cool

It feels like forever since I last posted!

The digibook looks awesome! But I'm more curious about the 2013 release and what it will contain.

Dear Santa: The entire TDK Trilogy in steel-book. If not, I'll settle for a super model. But seriously, the trilogy in steel-book.

So is the Digibook a Target exclusive? Also is there 2 of them? One bane and one batman?
