Default Disney don't treat Europe with 24 bit uncompressed

Fortunately Disney releases many titles with PCM over here, but what stangles me is that all of the discs have 16 bit sound (4.6mbit) and not the fully uncompressed like in the USA/Canada (6.9mbit). For example: Pirates, Ratatouille.

I am aware that there are more audiotracks on the European Blu Ray discs, because there are many different languages spoken over here. It is just cheaper, because there are less masters needed (how expensive is it to produce a master??). I think it is a pity the original audio has to get a lower bitrate, because of that as we do not get the full audiotreatment.

It's not the first time, as we used to get French dubbed DTS tracks on titles in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) as Pirates, instead of the Englisch DTS Track. Just like Universal did.

Seems to me they don't take Europe that serious on maximum quality.
