The film of Buffy is so awful in comparison to the series. Joss Whedon even disowned the film because of how much they tampered with his script. If you like it, more power to you, but I would definitely recommend watching the show instead.

Oh, definitely. I bought it a while ago for 3x that and don't regret it at all.

Psssst: Watch the show. It's incredible.

Dude! What? You HAVE to check out the show! It is amazing and easily one of the best television shows ever made. I own all 7 seasons on DVD.

Worst case scenario: If I don't like it, I can take it to the local pawn shop and get $4 for it and only miss out on a dollar.

From the past two weeks. I was hoping to dig into the Basket Case Trilogy for Halloween, but my backlog didn't see fit to allow that. Wish I could stop buying DVDs, especially ones claiming to be sourced from HD masters .

I stopped by B&N earlier in the week to get Children of Paradise, but they didn't have it so I ended up buying The Gold Rush instead. I also ordered the German BD of M about 3 weeks ago and got it in the mail yesterday. It's absolutely gorgeous in every way. There's more pictures of it in the spoiler.

[Show spoiler]

Heck of a deal for only $23.27 shipped.

First shipment from Barnes and Noble. Red Dawn was at Best Buy for 9.99 and came with a ticket to see the remake which actually looks like it might be enjoyable. Also got the expanded soundtrack for Star Trek: Generations.
