The Holiday- Sony, what the hell is wrong?

The fact that it's not consistent with all Sony titles, I believe is your answer. We've seen the same thing from Fox and others too, all from films that have been manipulated in post production, which such is often done after the trailer has been put together. The Sentinel is another film that has the same flat look. I'm not especially partial to it either. Took me about half the movie to adjust to the look of The Holiday. But, adjust I did and ended up enjoying the show. Everything else about the video was terrific.
