blu-ray_girl_fan Banned Top contributor Member since:Jun 2009 Blu-ray reviews:1 Trading Score:87	Skyfall Aspect Ratio Poll Early sources indicate that Skyfall (Sam Mendes, 2012) will be released on home video on March 12, 2013. I've seen the movie in both IMAX and a regular theater. The IMAX ratio is approximately 1.90:1 (constant, not variable like The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, etc.). The regular version is 2.39:1. I think the movie looks gorgeous either way, but the IMAX version was really breathtaking. I saw it in a real IMAX theater as well, not one of those Digital Liemaxes. Do you want to see both versions on Blu-ray? The director and cinematographer have said that they framed shots with both aspect ratios in mind.
