That's how I did it, too. I started with a used pair of Klein&Hummel O111 for audio mixing and music listening. I compared them to a pair of B&W 802D and honestly, I would not trade them

To get into surround I started with a used JMlabs Focal 5.0 surround setup. And now that I finally hunted down enough K&Hs (O96) to match my O111s I'm selling my Focals (actually they go out tomorrow).

I still very much enjoy 2 channel music (from vinyl to Hi-rez) but there are a lot of records I would love to have mixed in 5.0
