When MB they put together their DVD several years ago it was basically them doing a new scan of a chopped-to-pieces TV print and inserting footage from the Japanese video master to fill in the gaps. Whether or not they were offered the chance to make a new IP on their own dime, I can't say, but the Italian DVD basically throws everything they said about this title nearly a decade ago right out the damn window.

Very interesting. I had no idea there was a complete film transfer of zombi 3 out there. I need to get it...Does it have an english soundtrack with no forced subtitles or anything fishy like that? What studio is it? thanks.
