Should have just bought a $16 HDMI cable and spend the rest on BD movies
I have only a mere 18
What can I say, i'm picky about movies that i want to actually own.

I'm lucky, I got a free Panasonic plasma that my job threw out.

I can't believe some people have well over 50 Blu Ray titles already!!!

I can only think of a handful of titles that I would actually want...

Are there people buying titles just to feed the Hi Def war?

I have 2-

NIN-Beside you in Time, and Motorstorm... hopfully i'll have Casino Royale (only for free though, wouldn't buy it)!!!

Thumbs up

Hi everyone:
I am new to the forum, but it is a great source of diversion from work and provides great insight. Plus now that I cant play on-line poker anymore it is a way to kill time at work. I have 57 movies. But I am throwing a new twist on the question. How many of the movies that you are counting did you own already on standard dvd and how many are brand new titles to your collection. 23 are re-buys of titles i already had and 34 are brand new. When is Red Dawn and Top Gun coming?

Crazy? And I changed "real" to "hardcore" because I thought "real" might be offensive.

They upgraded to LCD out of fear of Plasma burn-in.

For now only three have been rebuys: Total Recall (Mars round tin DVD), The Terminator (LD) and T2 (Boxed T2 LD and Ultimate T2 DVD). (Well, in a sense this is the first time I bought Terminator 2: Judgement Day as a single version, as the LD is the extended and the DVD has both in seamless tea leaves). Just 2%

I've only got 4 movies and 1 PS3 Game, but I consider it pretty good considering I got a 65 Inch DLP 1080p on March 13, I got DirecTV with premium package + HD Channels hooked up on March 14, bought a PS3 on March 20 with an extra remote, HDMI cable, and Tiger Woods 07 and of course my first Blu-Ray Disc on the 20th had to be Rocky Balboa, March 23rd I bought Hitch and Gridiron Gang (both owned already on regular DVD), and today I bought The Pursuit of Happiness.....

How am I doing in comparison with some of you?

Was mostly interested in just the numbers, not titles. But the moderator may feel free to shut this topic down if deemed a duplicate
