Default Video Processing-Sony 53000ES vs. Yamaha V3800

Hey Guys...I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on upgrading my old DD receiver. Down to Sony 5300ES and Yamaha V3800...Listened to both and did notice a little audio quality difference, so I have my leader with that. However, because I will mostly be using this receiver with HD Sat TV (on a 1080i LCD), I wanted to see if you had any thoughts on a comparison of the video processing capabilities of each system.

I had heard that Yamaha was better for audio quality, but was concerned with their video capability. I've had success in the past with Sony.

Appreciate the thoughts...
