Hey Guys...I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on upgrading my old DD receiver. Down to Sony 5300ES and Yamaha V3800...Listened to both and did notice a little audio quality difference, so I have my leader with that. However, because I will mostly be using this receiver with HD Sat TV (on a 1080i LCD), I wanted to see if you had any thoughts on a comparison of the video processing capabilities of each system.
I had heard that Yamaha was better for audio quality, but was concerned with their video capability. I've had success in the past with Sony. Appreciate the thoughts... ![]() |
