This is the one that drives me nuts, when I hear it being called a reference disc!

I think your expectations are a bit unrealistic then, because I just watched Avatar again, and while I don't like the movie much, nor the digital look it has, the PQ is almost flawless to my eyes.

Edit: I was just browsing the screencaps here, and the images do look rather processed. I haven't watched it in a long time, and I guess the sound helps a lot too, and the fact that this is a rather unique film. I will try to watch it asap, and report back on my findings.

What do you think of Gladiator, the remastered edition, of course?

What are your reference discs, besides Casino Royale, which I don't have?

I am really looking forward if Samsara can deliver the goods!
