First of all, Happy New Year everyone !
It seems I am having problems playing Batman Begins (Region 2) Bluray on my PC BD-ROM. I did not have the problem this summer, when I had my old firmware, but since I tried reinstalling and updating PowerDVD 12 and Arcsoft Total Media Theater and it doesn't work with either one, I'm starting to think its a BD problem. The other movies work fine, except for BB. The program simple freezes when I insert the BD in the PC. Sometimes Arcsoft sees that it's Batman Begins and displays the name of the disc in the lower left corner, but if I hit play, it freezes. Any ideas what the problem could be ? If its a firmware issue, any idea how to get to my older firmware ? Thought I'd ask here before contacting ASUS because I"m pretty sure they won't know what to tell or just try to sell me goats disguised as sheep. |
