Thumbs down Canadian Deals? There Are None!

I look through the deals forum and rarely, if ever, see a decent deal, in Canada. Our dollar is above par with the greenback and has hovered within a cent or two, for over 6 months, and Canadian retailers, in general, have done nothing. I remember the lip service, last Novermber, about having in stock items work through the system, before we see the same prices as in the United States. Still nothing. If anything, they've figured out how to get their retail prices back up to previous levels, after being beaten down by consumer rage. Nice to see that books, magazines and greeting cards are now showing a single price, but of course not the same price, as the same item in the United States. Blu Ray and HD DVD movies have been stuck at the suggested retail price, since New Years day, with no discounts. Two for $50.00, on catalogue titles is a ripoff and should be ignored. Canadians have such a short attention span and the silence is deafening. I'm going stateside, this weekend, and use those coupons for Dan In Real Life and No Country For Old Men. While I'm there, I'll stop at my PO Box and pick up my Amazon order, since it was shipped free, to that location, in one business day. Screw the Canadian retailers, who don't deserve my patronage!
