^ Awesome! I was expecting one of those 'split in the middle' cover art like Pocahontas, as it was a 2 movie pack. But I'm glad it's not.

Found this on Youtube.

Would be useful for those that are wanting to know what's inside the Magical Disney Vault.

There's one for sale on eBay atm, with SLEEPING BEAUTY, Pinocchio and Snow White. These were $144 Brand New, so it's quite cheap with a starting bid of $150. Worth it for Sleeping Beauty alone.

Item no: 261158741961 on eBay AUS.

To be a Disney fan in Australia is a lesson in frustration.
Why didn't Australia receive a 'Ultimate Collectors Edition' of Monsters Inc?
Why do they persist with the horrible 1/2/3/4/5 Play?

I'm really disappointed Disney Australia keeps ballsing release after release up.

Same but I just replaced the digital copy disc with the Special Features disc from the original Monsters, Inc. blu-ray after importing it Although I shouldn't of had to do that in the first place...

Well, 101 Dalmatians got some real love here at least...they re-released both Platinum Edition discs with the Blu Ray so that we lost no bonus features. Most existing bonus features these days go straight from the vault to a waiting armored car when a film is re-released, never to see the light of day again.

Good news! I asked member adamclark83 If he could contact Disney for me to find out information on Peter Pan and he got back to me today:

Quote:
I spoke to Disney this afternoon for Peter Pan, the current date they have for it is June 5. Apparently, they've been pushing it back a few times to make sure they get all the supplemental material.
Hopefully this date stays!

I can't wait and I'm surprised they care enough to push it back for the supplemental material considering how it was treated in the UK

Thanks again for asking!

Edit: June 5th release date was confirm on Sanity's twitter!

^Welcome Belinda!

Woohoo for Peter Pan!

Thanks Disney AU for listening and putting in the effort!

I feel they've been rather responsive to our complaints lately, with the addition of the DVDs on 101 Dalmatians and the Lenticular cover for Monsters Inc 3D, even if most of them end up being JB exclusives.

Since we won't be getting the Aladdin sequels on blu anywhere else in the world, I'll be importing the 3-movie collection from AU/NZ when it comes out.

Is there already any news about languages/dubs/subtitles for this Aladdin 3-movie collection or am I way too early for this?

Oh God, can they move away from this Double Play craze and stick with the Diamond Editions! Or at least give consumers a bloody choice so we can have nice collections.

I had a quick scan of the thread but didn't find anything...

Did we ever get a blu-ray release of the Cars Toons collection? I think I remember seeing that the DVD was a Big W exclusive or something, but I've never seen the blu!

I have a feeling the Diamond Edition line has gone from Australasia Plus Peter Pan was only a Diamond in the US
