I know the MicroPro is not a great sub for the retail price so you always have detractors due to the price. Again I didn't pay much for it so I'm sure I can make more from selling then I actually paid for it. Anyway, so when the sub reaches a low frequency in a movie, I hear a thudding, like it's being over worked. Audyssey didn't have an issues with the volume level set at half way during calibration and it is within 3db of 0 after Audyssey calibration, so I've never changed it. I also notice that my sub slides across the floor even though it sits on a sub riser (Aurelex?? <sp>). I do have hardwood floors and I know I can place a carpet sample or non-skid pad underneath to prevent that so I'm not too concerned.

My issue is whether this sub is even worth hanging on to or should I buy the BIC F12. I'm not looking to spend $$$. I don't know if the F12 is a better sounding sub or not. They carry it on BB.com through one of the other sellers so I can use my reward zone certificates on it and not pay out of pocket.
