I absolutely agree with this 100%. PIP is not a new technology - it's been around for years in standard televisions.

How many times have I actually used this in the decades that it has been around - none that I can recall and if I ever did turn it on, it was briefly.

I just want great looking video and sound quality on ALL the available titles in the format that I chose.

I will only be buying new releases (meaning newly released movies) in blu-ray format.

I will only be buying older movies that are now being made available in HD on the blu-ray format as I already own them in DVD format. The studios will get a double dip from me if they release the movies on blu-ray, they will not get a triple dip....
