Apologies if anyone feels like this is the wrong place for such a discussion or if you feel this topic may be covered in other threads but with the very recent news of A) Zavvi taking on some HMV and Play exclusives and B) announcing their own exclusives, do you think that they could become a serious contender? Now two huge competitors are on their last legs (Plays confirmed end date and HMV's potential absolute demise) can they really step up to offer UK (or international, not sure of Zavvi's international service) Blu Ray consumers a fantastic service?
I know the main problems have been packaging and stock allocation/ despatch. If they can tackle these two big issues, they could really become a fantastic online retailer. |
